# In Utero Program: Detecting and Isolating Circulating Trophoblasts with CyteFinder

A cell-based approach to noninvasive prenatal testing, built on detecting and isolating fetal-derived cells from maternal circulation.

Part of Wellcome Leap’s In Utero program, this short video shows how the RareCyte CyteFinder® platform is used to detect and isolate circulating trophoblasts — fetal-derived cells found in maternal circulation.

By recovering these cells, the platform enables a cell-based approach to noninvasive prenatal testing.
